Situated beachfront on Bali's northeast coast, Tauch Terminal Tulamben Resort & Spa offers an escape from the crowds of mass tourism in south Bali. Voted “best dive resort” in Bali from 2005-2015 by Best Bets Bali, the resort's hi-tech, well-maintained dive centre and dive shop are ready to accommodate all divers' needs at one of Bali's best dive destinations. Sites include Tulamben's very own house reefs, the historic USAT Liberty, Amed and Biaha shark caves, Nusa Penida's mola mola encounter, and Menjangan Island, part of the West Bali National Marine Park. Occasionally, the dive team will offer adventure trips to a site they have recently found. As the only SSI Diamond Dive Facility in Bali, dive courses range from entry-level such as Scuba Ranger for children up to various specialized instructor-training programmes. All dives are run by a dive guide with a minimum accreditation of divemaster, and there is free nitrox at Tulamben. The resort's Balinese accommodation combines traditional, contemporary and modern amenities. The interiors and furniture were personally designed and renovated by the owner. With spacious living rooms, all deluxe rooms are equipped with comfortable sofas and a private terrace with personal sunbeds. The entire resort has free Wi-fi internet access. After a breathtaking dive, enjoy a refreshing swim in one of the resort's two pools, or indulge in a rejuvenating traditional Tulamben Spa treatment. The new beach bar, next to the fresh-water swimming pool, is a great place to hang out during the day or enjoy a beverage after an excellent dinner at the seaside restaurant serving European, Asian and western cuisine. The staff at the resort advise guests to leave their watches and stresses at home because at Tauch Terminal Tulamben Resort & Spa, time simply doesn't matter.
