Trip advice and seasonal specials.

JEAN-MICHEL COUSTEAU RESORT HAS released a South Pacific dive and rejuvenation package, following the introduction of three new dive sites in the area. Grand Central Station – a far cry from its namesake in New York – offers next-to-wall diving that drops 300m into the ocean, with schools of pelagic fish; the Chimneys features two coral heads, one of which inspired the Oscar-winning movie, ‘Finding Nemo’; and the Manta Mount is, as the name suggests, where divers can observe majestic oceanic mantas at 15m, around a cleaning station. In celebration of the new sites, the package includes two additional free nights and free diving, as compared with the resorts’ usual offerings. The price is around US$2,200 per adult, all inclusive. The package is valid in May and t hen for most dates from October 2018 to March 2019 – make sure you check with their calendar before booking. Find out more atjire
