2015 年,本土品牌乘用车共销售 873.76 万辆,同比增长15.3%。占乘用车销售总量的41.3%,比上年同期提高 2.9 个百分点。不过,本土车企“长短腿”明显:轿车销售243.03 万辆,同比下降12.5%,占轿车销售总量的20.7%,比上年同期下降1.7个百分点;SUV 销售 334.30 万辆,同比增长 82.8%,占 SUV 销售总量的53.7%,比上年同期提高 8.9 个百分点。
