Jingdezhen Im­proves its Ce­ramic Busi­ness

In mid- Septem­ber, there was a news con­fer­ence on the 2017 China Jingdezheng In­ter­na­tional Ce­ram­ics Fair & Jingdezheng Tourism Pro­mo­tion in Bei­jing, where Wu Juan, sec­re­tary­gen­eral of the CPC Com­mit­tee of Jingdezhen, in­tro­duc­ing the Fair of 2017 and tourism re­sources of Jingdezhen City.

The 2017 China Jingdezheng In­ter­na­tional Ce­ramic Fair was the con­tin­u­a­tion of an event in Jingdezhen, held Oc­to­ber 18 to 22 this year, as a pro­fes­sional plat­form for mu­tual ben­e­fit with win­ning re­sults. This year's event at­tracted more than 900 well- known Chi­nese and for­eign ce­ram­ics spe­cial­ists from Ger­many, the Nether­lands, the United States and Ja­pan, to form a gath­er­ing of do­mes­tic and for­eign brands. Some Chi­nese ex­hibitors from Hu­nan Prov­ince's Yang­wul­ing and Zhe­jiang Prov­ince's Shangyu showed their prod­ucts at the event and 34 top Chi­nese re­search in­sti­tutes had their re­lated tech­no­log­i­cal devel­op­ments on dis­play and es­tab­lished trade re­la­tions with other ce­ram­ics en­ter­prises.

The fair had an ar­ray of many other ac­tiv­i­ties, in­clud­ing a pre­sen­ta­tion for in­no­va­tive and cre­ative trends in Jingdezhen, an in­ter­na­tional show, and a sem­i­nar on ce­ramic art­works cre­ated by Jingdezhen peo­ple, a na­tional com­pe­ti­tion of ce­ram­ics pro­duc­ers, and sem­i­nars on the ori­gin of Jingdezhen's blue and white porce­lain. In short, this year's fair was a grand event that cov­ered tra­di­tional work­man­ship, mod­ern tech­nol­ogy, and East-west ce­ram­ics cul­tures, along with aca­demic re­search dis­cus­sions, prod­uct dis­plays, and busi­ness co­op­er­a­tion.
