Like other delicacies served here, the visually exciting hot chocolate Sundae is generous in portion. It contains chocolate beans, butter flour, silk syrup, steamed egg, vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, cherries, cream and mint leaves. It is said the famous Sundae was created in 1978 when Morton opened its first restaurant in Chicago. Since then, it has been loved by guests of all ages, thus becoming a legend. In Morton’s Beijing branch, this dessert is produced by Peter, the sous chef of the restaurant, who used to work in the Italian restaurants of Westin Hotel and Kempinski Hotel, respectively.
