餐厅窗外是三里屯酒吧街,参天的绿树成了这里最美的风景。餐厅面积虽然不大,但非常讲究细节,深色的桌椅,白色的纱幔飘落下来,刚好将空间给巧妙地隔开,烘托出优雅、浪漫的就餐氛围。Alex来自西班牙东南部的巴伦西亚,这里是富饶的鱼米之乡,出产优质的大米和各种鱼类。人们对米饭的吃法也多种多样, Paella就是其中最大众化的吃法,这种饭是用一种名为“Paella”的平底锅,采用大米、海鲜、肉类、蔬菜等配上各种调料,煮后在烤箱烤制而成。这种西班牙米属于硬米,所以吃起来有点夹生感,很多中国人一开始不习惯,不过细细咀嚼之后会发现,这种米饭满口留香,别有一种风味。巴伦西亚地区还出产一种叫“Esgarraet”的鱼干,有金枪鱼、凤尾鱼、鳕鱼鱼干等,用这种鱼干配上烤红椒,加点橄榄油,就是一道美味的tapas。

Though not very spacious, it is decorated exquisitely. The trees on the Sanlitun bar street provide refreshing scenery. Alex is from Valencia - an affluent land of honey and milk in the northeast of Spain, where rice is mostly made into Paella (a dish cooked with rice, sea food and vegetables in a pan). The rice is half-cooked but chewy and tasteful.

Valencia also produces dried fish Esgarraet, which includes tuna, anchovy, cod, etc. The Esgarraet is usually made into tapas with grilled red pepper and olive oil.
