Changjiang Weekly - - FOCUS -

The light show at the Yellow Crane Tower was highly acclaimed by guests present. Hans Dietmar Schweisgut, Ambassador of the EU to China, said it was a great feeling to attend the lighting event at the Yellow Crane Tower. "I came to know about Wuhan in my school years. Hubei, and Wuhan in particular, have rich tourist resources," he remarked. He suggested that the many scenic spots of Wuhan should be promoted together with its long history and rich culture to the rest of the world.

Olivier Guyonvarch, Consul General of France in Wuhan, posted photos he took at the Yellow Crane Tower on his WeChat Moments on the night of the lightshow and later the next morning. He praised the show as colorful, saying, "The sound and light at the opening ceremony of the China-EU Tourism Year in Wuhan was magnificent."

"Very beautiful, impressive and unforgettable! " was the comment from Fons Lamboo, the Chief Representative of the Netherlands Business Support Office in Wuhan. He has been in China for nearly 10 years. He said the Yellow Crane Tower on May 10 was completely different from what he had seen before.
