Changjiang Weekly - - SOCIETY - By Liu Jia

The student delegation from Wuhan Britain-China School ranked first among all of the Chinese teams that participated in the recent National Economic Challenge ( NEC) in New York. Zhang Jingwen, one of the four students on the team, was interviewed by an American TV station, becoming the first Chinese high school student to be on American Consumer News and Business channel.

The NEC, hosted by the Council for Economic Education in the U.S., is an economics competition for high school students. It has been dubbed the Olympic Games in the field of economics. It opened a division in China in 2017.

Zhang said she has learned a lot about economics from her parents who are economists.
