"The Tortoise and the Hare" is an Aesop's fable about a race between a rabbit and a tortoise. Despite walking very slowly, the tortoise crossed the finish line first.

On June 2, a reality show to reenact the story was set up at Wuhan Haichang Polar Ocean World. The real life ending was somewhat different to the original, with both animals unexpectedly crossing the line at the same time.

The race began with three turtles and three rabbits. The turtle on track No.3 kept walking slowly towards the finish line. One of the rabbits decided to take a rest on the track after running for a while, another lost its direction and went back to the start point, while the third one never even started. When the turtle almost reached the end, the rabbit that had been resting suddenly jumped up and began to run quickly down the track, reaching the finish line at the same time as the turtle.
