Wuhan to promote intangible cultural heritage
Recently, the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture announced 70 activities for the Wuhan 2018 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day that will fall on June 9.
The main activities will be held at Jiqing Street on June 9. They include a special performance about intangible cultural heritage, an exhibition of handicrafts, and a children's drawing on a 100-meter-long scroll. Intangible cultural heritage inheritors, including masters of paper cutting and facial plastics, will participate in the activities.
The beauty of the intangible cultural heritage of Wuhan will also be shared at home and abroad. Wuhan's three national-level folk art projects will be performed in Tianjin between June 7 and 14. Cultural exchange activities about Han embroidery, Wuhan paper cutting, Su Hengtai paper umbrella, and Wuhan clay sculpture will also be held in Nigeria.
