Chinese Contemporary Arts and Crafts Biennale displays Wuhan artists' workmanship
Nine works by eight Wuhan crafts masters were displayed at the 2018 Chinese Contemporary Arts and Crafts Biennale, which opened in the National Museum of China on August 18. It marks the largest number of Wuhan participants ever in this top biennale.
The works from Hubei presented at the exhibition include a Chu-style lacquer screen by Liu Bijian, two pieces of Han embroidery by Wang Ziyi and Ren Wei, and a turquoise carving by Ye Jiayou.
