Chi­nese Con­tem­po­rary Arts and Crafts Bi­en­nale dis­plays Wuhan artists' work­man­ship

Nine works by eight Wuhan crafts mas­ters were dis­played at the 2018 Chi­nese Con­tem­po­rary Arts and Crafts Bi­en­nale, which opened in the Na­tional Mu­seum of China on Au­gust 18. It marks the largest num­ber of Wuhan par­tic­i­pants ever in this top bi­en­nale.

The works from Hubei pre­sented at the ex­hi­bi­tion in­clude a Chu-style lac­quer screen by Liu Bi­jian, two pieces of Han em­broi­dery by Wang Ziyi and Ren Wei, and a turquoise carv­ing by Ye Ji­ayou.
