Wuhan lo­tus flow­ers served on din­ing ta­bles na­tion­wide

On Au­gust 30, Mei Xiang, Gen­eral Man­ager of Alibaba's Hema Fresh Store in Wuhan, an­nounced its performance in Wuhan. After lo­tus sprouts started to be sold across the coun­try via the new re­tail model cre­ated by Hema Fresh Stores, the lo­tus flow­ers di­rectly picked from Wuhan have also, for the first time, been sold na­tion­wide. "With a unit price of RMB 3.8, over 10,000 lo­tus flow­ers are sold per month in Hema Fresh Stores na­tion­wide."

In Au­gust, Hubei signed a strate­gic co­op­er­a­tion agree­ment with Hema Fresh Store, promis­ing to con­tinue sup­port­ing its con­struc­tion of fresh agri­cul­tural prod­uct bases in Hubei Prov­ince.

Mei re­vealed that the third Hema Fresh Store in Wuhan opened on Au­gust 31 at Tai­heli on Qing­nian Road. The fourth one is ex­pected to be un­veiled in Tianxia Longling Square in Hong­shan Dis­trict by the end of Septem­ber. This store will be close to Wuhan Univer­sity of Tech­nol­ogy and Cen­tral China Nor­mal Univer­sity.

Re­cently, Hema Fresh Store set up its Cen­tral China head­quar­ters in Wuhan, an­nounc­ing that it would open 50 stores in Wuhan in three years.
