U14 In­ter­na­tional Ju­nior Foot­ball Tour­na­ment in Wuhan

The 2018 U14 In­ter­na­tional (Wuhan) Ju­nior Foot­ball Tour­na­ment was held on Septem­ber 4 at the Tazi Lake train­ing cen­ter of the Wuhan Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion. The tour­na­ment is an in­ter­na­tional event co-hosted by the Chi­nese Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion and Wuhan Sports Bureau, and spon­sored by the Wuhan Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion.

The tour­na­ment, held in Wuhan for the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive year, aims to pop­u­lar­ize the de­vel­op­ment of youth foot­ball as well as scout for and cul­ti­vate more young foot­ball ta­lent.

This year, in ad­di­tion to the host team of China U14, the tour­na­ment also in­vited last year's cham­pion, Ja­pan, as well as sev­eral other teams: the Re­pub­lic of South Korea, Thai­land, Uzbek­istan, Viet­nam, the United Arab Emi­rates and Malaysia.
