Jordan: straight-A teen aims for cham­pi­onship

"Although Wuhan track is newly built, it feels great in the test drive. I'll drive faster in the of­fi­cial race," said Jordan Mor­gan Dempsey who came to Wuhan from Ire­land to par­tic­i­pate in the FIA F4 Chi­nese Cham­pi­onship held on Oc­to­ber 2. Jordan is only 18 years old, but he has taken part in var­i­ous kart races since the age of nine. He has won two an­nual cham­pi­onships in the Bri­tish Kart Rac­ing Cham­pi­onship and an an­nual cham­pi­onship in the Bri­tish For­mula 3

Cham­pi­onship. "My grand­fa­ther is a GT racer and my dad is a for­mula racer. I'm so much in­flu­enced by them that I fell in love with mo­tor sport when I was a lit­tle kid." This is the first time that Jordan has come to China. The cli­mate in Wuhan makes him feel com­fort­able, which is ben­e­fi­cial for him to achieve bet­ter re­sults.
