Artifacts on display
GuangdongMuseum has launched a major exhibition of important archaeological finds from Guangdong province and neighboring Hong Kong and Macao. Experts from the two special administrative regions have been invited to give public lectures this weekend on the history, culture and archeological development of the two regions. Displaying collections from more than 30 museums in the three areas, the exhibition chronicles the history of Lingnan culture since the Paleolithic age. Visitors are exposed to how ancient residents in the Lingnan area lived, through delicate pottery, bronze ware and china. The curator will guide visitors through the exhibition on Jan 18.
