Guang­dongMu­seum has launched a ma­jor ex­hi­bi­tion of im­por­tant ar­chae­o­log­i­cal finds from Guang­dong prov­ince and neigh­bor­ing Hong Kong and Ma­cao. Ex­perts from the two spe­cial ad­min­is­tra­tive re­gions have been in­vited to give pub­lic lec­tures this weekend on the his­tory, cul­ture and arche­o­log­i­cal de­vel­op­ment of the two re­gions. Dis­play­ing col­lec­tions from more than 30 mu­se­ums in the three ar­eas, the ex­hi­bi­tion chron­i­cles the his­tory of Ling­nan cul­ture since the Pa­le­olithic age. Visi­tors are ex­posed to how an­cient res­i­dents in the Ling­nan area lived, through del­i­cate pot­tery, bronze ware and china. The cu­ra­tor will guide visi­tors through the ex­hi­bi­tion on Jan 18.
