Hospital’s doctors can open own clinics

China Daily (Canada) - - CHINA -

The city’s Health and Family Planning Commission said on Thursday that it plans to allow doctors working for hospitals to open their own clinics. Under a 1994 regulation, such doctors are not allowed to open their own hospitals or clinics. The change is being made as part of the city’s effort to encourage investment in its medical service industry and to motivate medical workers to provide better service.
