Anti-cor­rup­tion ef­fort ramped up for fes­ti­val

China’s top dis­ci­plinary author­ity has set up an on­line plat­form to re­ceive re­ports of cor­rup­tion from the pub­lic dur­ing this weekend’s Dragon Boat Fes­ti­val. Cen­tral Com­mis­sion for Dis­ci­pline In­spec­tion added a “Clean Dragon Boat Fes­ti­val Hol­i­day” sec­tion to its web­site on Thurs­day. Bans are al­ready in place against us­ing pub­lic funds to buy hol­i­day pre­sents such as zongzi, the tra­di­tional rice dumplings served dur­ing the fes­ti­val.
