Astatement on fighting corruption will be included in documents on the outcomeof the ongoing APECmeetings, an official said on Thursday.
Alan Bollard, executive director of the APECSecretariat, said the Beijing Statement on Anti-corruption has been proposed by both China and the United States.

“This is necessary for us to track cases across borders within the APECregion and even to followup and recover assets if they are removed illegally,” Bollard said.
