Neighbors arenot something tobe chosen. Frictions andevendisputes are hardly avoidable inthe interactions of neighbors. The ancient Chinese believedinharmonywithneighbors. I believe that as long as we treat each other with sincerity and seek common ground while reserving differences, there would be no insurmountable obstacles that will stand inourway. Countries, within this region and without, are passengers traveling in the same big boat with their interests closely linked. AsaMyanmar proverb goes, “Hewho doesnot look ahead will encounter many difficulties.”
