Xiamen Airlines to carry SF Express’ goods from Beijing
Xiamen Airlines, a carrier based in Xiamen, Fujian province, said on Thursday it has signed a contract with the SF Express Group to carry the logistics company’s goods on all its routes from Beijing. The airline will carry 6,000 metric tons of goods for SF Express in 2015 and the volume will increase by 20 percent every year during the contract term. Xiamen Airlines runs nine routes from Beijing and will open eight new routes from Beijing in the next three to five years. The carrier, which received two Boeing 787 aircraft this year, is also preparing for two international routes from Beijing.
