Xi­a­men Air­lines to carry SF Ex­press’ goods from Beijing

Xi­a­men Air­lines, a car­rier based in Xi­a­men, Fu­jian prov­ince, said on Thurs­day it has signed a con­tract with the SF Ex­press Group to carry the lo­gis­tics company’s goods on all its routes from Beijing. The air­line will carry 6,000 metric tons of goods for SF Ex­press in 2015 and the vol­ume will in­crease by 20 per­cent ev­ery year dur­ing the con­tract term. Xi­a­men Air­lines runs nine routes from Beijing and will open eight new routes from Beijing in the next three to five years. The car­rier, which re­ceived two Boe­ing 787 air­craft this year, is also pre­par­ing for two in­ter­na­tional routes from Beijing.
