Judges on call to help re­mote res­i­dents

The au­ton­o­mous re­gion has set up 74 mo­bile courts, pro­vid­ing con­ve­nient ser­vice to res­i­dents in re­mote ar­eas, ti­bet.cn re­ported on Wed­nes­day. Judges’ names and phone num­bers are avail­able at vil­lage com­mit­tee of­fices. Vil­lagers can call for help. When they do, a judge will come, both on work­days and hol­i­days. So far, the peo­ple’s court of San­gri has pro­cessed 231 calls ask­ing for ju­di­cial as­sis­tance.
