China Daily (Canada) - - CHINA -

Police confiscated more than 1,000 bullets at a resident’s home, the Jinan customs department said on Wednesday. Acting on a tip, anti-smuggling police tracked a package, which was declared to contain a server cabinet, that FedEx delivered from California to Liaocheng. When the package arrived at the house of the intended recipient, police inspected it and found 1,100 bullets. They also found an air rifle, a homemade handgun, and an imitation handgun at the home of the suspect, surnamed Wu. Preliminary investigation showed that in late October, Wu asked others to buy the bullets in the US. A further investigation is underway.
