IZP Tech to set up data platform in Ecuador
The Ecuadorean city of Yachay, known as the country’s Silicon Valley, signed a long-term cooperation contract with Chinese Internet company IZP Technologies Co Ltd onWednesday. Officials said the bilateral agreement covers work including the construction of a big data platform and Sino-Latin American cross-border yuan trade settlement. IZP is an Internet data analytics firm that helps advertisers predict customer behavior. It will provide cloud-computing services to both the Ecuadorean government and private enterprises. The collaboration follows the visit of Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa to China this week.
