All major SOEs face anti-graft inspections

China Daily (Canada) - - FRONT PAGE -

China’s anti-graft authorities will conduct inspections of all major state-owned enterprises this year.

“SOE operations are closely related to national economic security, and corruption causes huge losses and seriously threatens Party rule,’’ said a statement from the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

Authorities will enhance their inspections of SOEs, especially of directors and managers in key positions, according to the statement.
