Tian­jin Bin­hai New Area gov­ern­ment said onWed­nes­day it was push­ing ahead with prepa­ra­tion work for the open­ing of Tian­i­jin free trade zone and ex­pects re­sults by aroundMarch. The FTZ will be the first of its kind in North China and is spread over an area of 119.9 square kilo­me­ters, mostly in Bin­hai. Its ap­proval will help Bin­hai to fur­ther im­prove its in­vest­ment en­vi­ron­ment.
