Col­lege stu­dents less fit than sec­ondary school­ers

The phys­i­cal con­di­tion of univer­sity stu­dents in China is get­ting worse com­pared with sec­ondary school stu­dents, ac­cord­ing to a new re­port.

Chi­ re­ported that phys­i­cal ex­ams con­ducted among univer­sity stu­dents showed that their phys­i­cal en­durance has dropped steadily, while it has in­creased among sec­ondary school stu­dents.


A record-break­ing 418 peo­ple gath­ered in the gar­den of the Sher­a­ton Lang­fang Chaobai River Ho­tel in Bei­jing on Sun­day to set a new Guin­ness World Records ti­tle: the most peo­ple eat­ing break­fast in bed. The new mark was achieved with 418 of the 490 par­tic­i­pants count­ing as valid while eat­ing break­fast si­mul­ta­ne­ously in the space of five min­utes. The pre­vi­ous record was held by Pudong Shangri-La, East Shang­hai, which hosted 388 peo­ple.
