New Zealand tourism gets a strate­gic boost

A strate­gic al­liance has been agreed be­tween AirNewZealand and Air China, to boost the south­ern hemi­sphere coun­try’s tourism sec­tor. NZ Trans­port­Min­is­ter Si­mon Bridges said the two car­ri­ers started ne­go­ti­a­tions on the al­liance dur­ing Chi­nese Pres­i­den­tXi Jin­ping’s state visit to NewZealand in­Novem­ber last year.
