For­mer of­fi­cials un­der scru­tiny

Four for­mer of­fi­cials from Shanxi prov­ince are be­ing in­ves­ti­gated on sus­pi­cion of ac­cept­ing bribes, ac­cord­ing to a state­ment re­leased by the Supreme Peo­ple’s Procu­ra­torate onWed­nes­day. They in­clude Li­uXiang­dong, a for­mer mem­ber of the provin­cial com­mit­tee of the Com­mu­nist Party of China and head of the com­mit­tee’s dis­ci­pline in­spec­tion group, and YinXip­ing, for­mer Party chief. The other two sus­pects are Liu Suiji, for­mer di­rec­tor of Taiyuan city’s pub­lic se­cu­rity bureau, and Tian Zhim­ing, for­mer Party chief of Xiangyuan county.
