There were 13,085 flights land­ing or tak­ing off at Shang­hai’s two air­ports dur­ing the week­long Chi­nese New Year hol­i­day, 5.1 per­cent more than the same pe­riod last year, re­ported Wen­hui Daily.

Shang­hai Pudong In­ter­na­tional Air­port and Hongqiao In­ter­na­tional Air­port re­ceived 1.83 mil­lion pas­sen­ger trips through­out the seven days, a 3.4 per­cent year-on-year growth. The peak was on Feb 13, the sixth day of the Chi­nese New Year, when the two air­ports reg­is­tered a com­bined 310,000 pas­sen­ger trips and 2,153 flights.
