Shen­zhen cross-border e-com­merce hits $15.4m

Ac­cord­ing to Shen­zhen Cus­toms, the ex­port of cross-border e-com­merce business at the Qian­hai and Shekou area of China (Guang­dong) Free Trade Zone hit nearly 100 mil­lion yuan ($15.4 mil­lion) for the first quar­ter of this year, ac­count­ing for 50 per­cent of the zone’s to­tal last year. The cus­toms of­fi­cials said it is im­prov­ing the clear­ance ef­fi­ciency, cut­ting down the op­er­a­tional costs and tak­ing more flex­i­ble mea­sures to fa­cil­i­tate the fast growth of the cross­bor­der e-com­merce business.
