Russian disposable income drops inMay
Russians’ real disposable income decreased by 5.7 percent inMay, the federal statistics service Rosstat said. From January toMay, real disposable income fell 4.9 percent year-on-year, according to figures on the agency’s website. Real disposable income excludes taxes and other mandatory payments and its performance is adjusted for inflation. The nominal average monthly salary reached 36,570 roubles ($570) inMay, up 6.2 percent yearon-year, Rosstat said.
