Startup launches landline phone with video
A Chinese startup recently launched a smart telephone with optimized video call features that target both household and business sectors.
Dubbed “QLove H1, the smart landline telephone”, it was invented by Beijing Shu Zi Jia Yuan Technology Ltd.
Built as a standalone mirror, it received the “iF Product Design Award 2016”, also known as the “Design Oscar”.
The newly launched gadget has an affordable price and customer-centered features. Its real-time video communications is targeted at both individual customers and companies.
Wu Wenliang, co-founder and senior vice-president of the company said the device will not only support Skype-like chat applications and other basic entertainment apps, but specialized apps that provide doorto-door delivery and online healthcare services will also be available for customization.
