Bei­jing ur­ban rail net­work to reach 378 miles

The length of ur­ban rail lines in Bei­jing will reach about 378 miles by the end of this year, Bei­jing Daily re­ported.

Now 20 con­struc­tion projects to build more than 217 miles of track are un­der way, ac­cord­ing to the re­port.

The ur­ban rail net­work in Bei­jing, in­clud­ing the sub­way and light rail sys­tems, is planned to to­tal more than 932 miles by 2020.

Bei­jing has the most pas­sen­ger lines un­der con­struc­tion and the high­est daily pas­sen­ger vol­ume.
