Char­i­ties must dis­close in­for­ma­tion to pub­lic

Since Sept 1, char­ity or­ga­ni­za­tions have been obliged to pro­vide fac­tual in­for­ma­tion to the pub­lic, ac­cord­ing to a reg­u­la­tion is­sued by the Min­istry of Civil Af­fairs. The in­for­ma­tion that must be dis­closed in­cludes ma­jor changes in as­sets, trans­ac­tions and in­vest­ments, pub­lic fund­ing and other char­ity projects. Char­i­ties that fail to dis­close in­for­ma­tion in a timely man­ner or re­lease false in­for­ma­tion can be re­ported to civil af­fairs au­thor­i­ties by or­ga­ni­za­tions or in­di­vid­u­als, the reg­u­la­tion said.
