• Aug 2007 The first project commercial to make passenger China’s jet is approved.

• May 2008 Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China is established.

• Nov 2008 The C919 jetliner project is launched.

• Sept 2009 A mockup of the jetliner is displayed at a Hong Kong air show.

• Nov 2010 Six clients have signed deals to buy 100 C919s.

• Nov 2012 At least 15 buyers have agreed to purchase 380 C919s.
