Where service reigns supreme

China Daily (Hong Kong) - - LIFE HOSPITALITY - ZUO ZHIPING By WU YONG in Shenyang LIU CE

Qing Dynasty ( 1644- 1911) decor defines the appearance while service determines the substance of Traders Hotel, Shenyang.

The imperial adornments are meant to show guests they expect to be treated like royalty when they visit the hotel affiliate of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, resident manager Zuo Zhiping says.

“Beyond the lamps and carpets, we want to convey that guests receive our respect, sincerity and assistance,” Zuo says.

Since its 1996 opening, the hotel has enjoyed an ideal location in, and become a landmark of, the central business district of Liaoning’s provincial capital.

“We treat our guests like family, and do our best to make them feel at home and comfortable,” Zuo says.

Traders Hotel, Shenyang offers 407 guestrooms and 93 recently refurbished serviced apartments.
