China Daily (Hong Kong) - - WORLD -

China dismissed the Japanese defense minister’s remarks on the possibility of an air defense identification zone in the South China Sea. “China is determined to safeguard national security. No country should make comments on this matter,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said on Monday. Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera said that the international community should oppose the creation of an ADIZ by China in the South China Sea.
