PetroChina gets LNG cargo from Equatorial Guinea
PetroChina Co, China’s biggest oil and gas producer, received a spot cargo of liquefied natural gas from Nigeria, ship-tracking data show. The Methane Becki Anne, with a capacity of 167,000 cubic meters, docked Monday at the Rudong terminal in Jiangsu province, according to transmissions captured by IHS Fairplay on Bloomberg. PetroChina has no long-term contracts to buy LNG from Equatorial Guinea, Bloomberg data show. The company operates the 3.5 million metric ton-a-year Jiangsu terminal, a 3 million-ton receiving facility at Dalian, and the 3.5 million-ton Tangshan plant.
