PetroChina gets LNG cargo from Equa­to­rial Guinea

PetroChina Co, China’s big­gest oil and gas pro­ducer, re­ceived a spot cargo of liq­ue­fied nat­u­ral gas from Nige­ria, ship-track­ing data show. The Meth­ane Becki Anne, with a ca­pac­ity of 167,000 cubic me­ters, docked Mon­day at the Rudong ter­mi­nal in Jiangsu prov­ince, ac­cord­ing to trans­mis­sions cap­tured by IHS Fair­play on Bloomberg. PetroChina has no long-term con­tracts to buy LNG from Equa­to­rial Guinea, Bloomberg data show. The com­pany op­er­ates the 3.5 mil­lion met­ric ton-a-year Jiangsu ter­mi­nal, a 3 mil­lion-ton re­ceiv­ing fa­cil­ity at Dalian, and the 3.5 mil­lion-ton Tang­shan plant.
