GM recalls vehicles due to fuel system problem

Shanghai General Motors Co is recalling more than 1.2 million Buick Excelle cars and another 243,000 Chevrolet Sail cars due to defects in the vehicles’ fuel systems, the country’s quality watchdog announced. The recall involved 1.218 million Buick Excelle vehicles manufactured between Jan 17, 2006, and Dec 2, 2012, and 243,297 Chevrolet Sail vehicles manufactured between April 9, 2009 to Oct 8, 2011.
