Schol­ar­ship for Ethiopian stu­dents

Chi­nese heavy machin­ery man­u­fac­tur­ing firm Xuzhou Con­struc­tion Machin­ery Group has launched a three-year schol­ar­ship to help out­stand­ing Ethiopian uni­ver­sity stu­dents. The spon­sor­ship, launched on Tues­day, is part of an ini­tia­tive in which six coun­tries were cho­sen to ben­e­fit from a spon­sor­ship, ac­cord­ing to Xiao Xiao, the com­pany’s East Africa re­gional man­ager. The schol­ar­ship aims to help 27 out­stand­ing Ad­dis Ababa uni­ver­sity stu­dents.

A cou­ple cel­e­brates their wed­ding at a hot spring ho­tel in Hangzhou, Zhe­jiang prov­ince. All the food is made from pump­kins, to raise aware­ness of healthy wed­ding ban­quet food.
