Subsea cable to go operational

China Daily (Hong Kong) - - BUSINESS -

The Asia Pacific Gateway submarine fiber optic cable line will be operational in Vietnam, Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group said on Tuesday. The operation of the network aims to increase international transmission capacity and reduce dependence on the AsiaAmerica Gateway, said VNPT. The APG boasts a capacity of 54 terabytes per second, the highest of any network in Asia, 20 times more than the AAG. 25.46 million metric tons of oil, 2.03 million tons higher than the 11-month target and accounts for 99.3 percent of the whole year’s target.
