Viet­nam power out­put up 11%

The State-owned Elec­tric­ity of Viet­nam an­nounced it pro­duced and bought 162.1 bil­lion kWh of elec­tric­ity be­tween Jan­uary and Novem­ber, up 11.21 per­cent com­pared to the same pe­riod last year. Of the to­tal, the amount of pro­duced elec­tric­ity reached 75.06 bil­lion kWh, an yearly in­crease of 22.32 per­cent, Viet­nam’s state-run news agency VNA quoted EVN as say­ing on Thurs­day. The EVN es­ti­mated that its com­bined power out­put would hit 177 bil­lion kWh in 2016, ex­ceed­ing the yearly tar­get by 1.1 bil­lion kWh and up 10.85 per­cent from 2015.
