10 de­tained over coal mine blast

Ten peo­ple were de­tained by po­lice in con­nec­tion with a coal mine blast that killed 32 min­ers on Dec 3 in Chifeng, the coun­try’s top work safety watch­dog said on Fri­day. Liu Hai­jun, gen­eral man­ager and le­gal rep­re­sen­ta­tive of Baoma Min­ing Co, and Lyu Guoyou, head of the coal mine, were among those de­tained, ac­cord­ing to the State Ad­min­is­tra­tion of Work Safety.
