E-ve­hi­cles seen at 40% of world to­tal

China’s elec­tric ve­hi­cle out­put is ex­pected to ac­count for 40 per­cent of global out­put in 2016, said Xu Yan­hua, deputy sec­re­tary-gen­eral of the China As­so­ci­a­tion of Au­to­mo­bile Man­u­fac­tur­ers. Xu made the re­marks at the Elec­tric Ve­hi­cle De­vel­op­ment Trend Fo­rum held in Bei­jing on Dec 10. Ac­cord­ing CAAM data, China’s e-ve­hi­cle out­put rose 16 per­cent year-on-year to 84,000 units in Novem­ber, bring­ing the to­tal out­put in Jan­uaryNovem­ber to 402,800 units, up 44 per­cent year-on-year.
