Sci­en­tists to meet in Bei­jing for en­vi­ron­ment con­fer­ence

The 2017 FIS Freestyle Ski­ing World Cup Aeri­als will kick off on Satur­day at the Beida Lake ski re­sort in Jilin prov­ince. More than 60 ath­letes from Aus­tralia, Be­larus, Canada, China, Ja­pan, Kaza­khstan, Rus­sia, Switzer­land, the United King­dom and the United States will par­tic­i­pate. The event is or­ga­nized by the In­ter­na­tional Ski Fed­er­a­tion. The 2016-17 ski­ing com­pe­ti­tion sea­son started in early Septem­ber and will end in late March. The In­ter­na­tional Con­fer­ence on Fron­tiers of En­vi­ron­ment, En­ergy and Bio­science will be held in Bei­jing on Dec 25. More than 200 sci­en­tists, schol­ars and engi­neers from around the world will at­tend. They will dis­cuss the lat­est de­vel­op­ments in bio­science, en­ergy con­ser­va­tion and en­vi­ron­ment preser­va­tion.
