Cap­i­tal to host first World In­ter­net of Things Con­ven­tion

The Chi­nese Academy of So­cial Sci­ences will re­lease its an­nual re­port on public ser­vice on Thurs­day. Called the Blue Book on Public Ser­vice, it will con­tain in­for­ma­tion on the sta­tus of trans­porta­tion, ed­u­ca­tion, med­i­cal ser­vice and elderly care na­tion­wide. The re­port will also show whether the public is sat­is­fied with the level of ser­vice. The first World In­ter­net of Things Con­ven­tion will be held in Bei­jing on Thurs­day. It is an in­ter­na­tional event ini­ti­ated by the World Chi­nese Busi­ness Al­liance and other tech­nol­ogy groups. The or­ga­niz­ers plan to hold the event in dif­fer­ent coun­tries each year. The theme of this year’s con­ven­tion is Build­ing Global Con­sen­sus on the In­ter­net of Things.
