Cus­tomer ac­cuses lock­smith of as­sault

A 60-year-old lock­smith, sur­named Ye, was de­tained on sus­pi­cion of sex­u­ally as­sault­ing a young woman in Tian­chang on June 15. Po­lice said Ye helped his victim, who lives alone, to open her door ear­lier that day af­ter she had for­got­ten her keys. The victim claims she woke up to find Ye on her bed sex­u­ally as­sault­ing her. Ye fled, but he was de­tained at his home the next day af­ter po­lice launched an in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
