More than 6,000 traf­ficked in a year

Hu­man traf­fick­ing has sig­nif­i­cantly in­creased in the coun­try with more than 6,000 Nepalis be­ing traf­ficked alone in the fis­cal year 2015-16, ac­cord­ing to the Na­tional Hu­man Rights Com­mis­sion in a re­port posted on its web­site on Tues­day. The com­mis­sion said that around 4,000 peo­ple, 70 per­cent of them girls, went miss­ing in that pe­riod.
