Swans slap hefty price tag on Gylfi
Premier League club Swansea City will not let Iceland international Gylfi Sigurdsson leave for less than $64 million, the BBC reported on Monday.
Leicester City has had a bid of around $52 million rejected for the 27-year-old playmaker — who scored nine goals and had 13 assists last season.
Everton is thought the most likely to match the Swans’ asking price. Toffees manager Ronald Koeman is a known admirer of the former Tottenham midfielder, who could replace the wantaway Ross Barkley at Goodison Park.
