Store promotes gold consumption

China Daily (Hong Kong) - - BUSINESS -

Beijing’s Caibai store, a well-known gold seller in the city, signed a cooperative agreement with the Bank of Communications’ Beijing branch to promote gold and jewelry consumption. They will offer new services including jewelry seminars and new retail modes to both consumers and investors, as China is currently encouraging domestic consumption and the development of its service sector. China is the world’s fastestgrowing market for gold jewelry, driven by an expanding and affluent middle class, who believe the precious metal can bring good luck and fortune.
